This three-day seminar will critically analyse the influence of photography, cinema and art on communities’ emotional relationship with their landscapes, and how these influences shape imaginaries over time. The seminar aims to improve the conservation and safeguarding of these landscapes within the National Cultural Landscape Plan and the framework of the European Landscape Convention.
The seminar has been organised by the Spanish Cultural Heritage Institute (IPCE) and is being scientifically coordinated by David Escudero and David Rejano Peña. The scientific programme is part of the project HERITAGESCAPES: Critical mapping of the metropolitan cultural landscape. Future heritage.
