Alberto Sanz

Alberto Sanz holds a PhD in Architecture and is Associate Professor at the Department of Theory of Architecture. He has a Master Degree in Garden and Landscape. He also works at the Historical Service of the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid.
His scientific production focuses mainly on the history of gardens and landscapes. Among his publications could be highlighted the book ‘El jardín clásico madrileño y los Reales Sitios’ (2009) and the book chapters ‘Arquitectura y desarrollo urbano de la Comunidad de Madrid (1999-2004)’ and ‘Arquitectura de Madrid (2003-07)’.
He coordinated the classification of Uruguayan landscape architect Leandro Silva’s legacy and he also organized an exhibition on this topic at ETSAM.
