November 2010 marked the tenth anniversary of the death of Leandro Silva, the most outstanding landscape architect of the second half of the twentieth century in Spain, whose professional legacy is deposited in the Library of the School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. On this occasion, and in order to disseminate his work, an exhibition was held at the School from 6 to 26 April 2011 under the title Imagining gardens: the Leandro Silva legacy, which also includes a small catalogue from the Dispersed Texts Collection.

This exhibition is not intended as a panoramic view of the Uruguayan landscape architect based in our country, but rather to show his design method, illustrated with graphic material from his archive.
